Help For Panic Attacks

In this article I'll provide you the information that you need in order to get back control over your anxiety and panic attack episodes.

Before doing anything else to address this problem, you need to try and accomplish one primary task. And that is to manage your attitude. By "attitude", I'm referring to your relationship with panic and anxiety. If you focus on this relationship, it'll be the driving force behind your healing.

How valuable can your attitude be in warding off panic attacks?

It's actually been documented that panic attack sufferers have been able to bring their panic under control within a few short weeks by focusing on "attitude". They applied no other techniques such as controlling their breathing, learning relaxation, etc. etc.

Although these techniques certainly work, the point is that attitude is more important. It's actually been proven that if panic attack sufferers apply only"techniques"without focusing on a healing attitude, they will continue to struggle with anxiety and panic. But as mentioned earlier, when no techniques are applied and only a focus on a healing attitude is, success is achieved.

Here are the healing attitudes that are needed to help with your panic attack symptoms:

  • "I am not ashamed"
  • "What can I learn from my condition"
  • "I want to face my symptoms head on"
  • "It's ok to be anxious here"
  • "It's ok if it doesn't work"
  • "I can put up with uncertainty"
  • "I won't guard against anxiety"
  • "This is just a practice run"

The above attitudes are the total opposite from what most panic attack sufferers have. Most people who experience anxiety adopt attitudes like "I can't let anyone know", "I must relax immediately", "This had better work", "There can't be any risk", etc. etc.

It takes practice, but I urge you to take a look at your attitude today, right now. How is your relationship with your panic and anxiety?  In other words, do you have the right attitude? If not, then adopt the healing attitudes listed above and be on your way to finally getting help for your panic attacks.
