I would suggest getting yourself to a doctor but in the meantime you can try this.
Paper bag rebreathing
Some panic attack sufferers and even some doctors recommend breathing into a paper bag as an effective small-term treatment of an acute panic attack.[9] This balances the ratio of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood. Too much oxygen and too small carbon dioxide, caused by breathing too quick or too deeply through the mouth, contributes to the chain reaction of symptoms that occur in a panic attack.

I’m not sure of any home remedies for panic attacks, but please do talk with your family dr to help rule other ailments out. Please do talk with a licensed therapist who deals with those with anxiety disorders and such.
As for the panic/anxiety attacks themselves, there is a relaxation technique that I learned in therapy known as deep breathing that can help regulate one’s breathing and have calming effects. What I do is (with open hand on stomach to promote breathing from diaphragm as opposed to just the lungs) slowly breathe in through the nose and then slowly out through pursed lips being careful not to do so too quickly as one may hyperventilate. I do that a couple of times and then breathe normally.
For medication, the ssri (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) antidepressants can help with panic attacks as it’s believed that there is a serotonin (neurotransmitter/chemical messenger in brain) imbalance and that it helps the serotonin to reuptake at the proper time. Serotonin is also thought to be related in those with clinical depression. There are other antidepressants too, if need be. The ssris may take six to eight weeks to notice the full effect.
Here’s a website that may show a local support group for those with anxiety disorders (though Not in place of actual therapy

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, rage, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.
Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI – Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There’s this weird herb called “St John’s Wort” – it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John’s Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced… you have that “learned behavior” in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to ruin that learned behavior – Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction… There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to….

Treatment of Panic Attacks

My best friend suffers from frequent panic attacks and the best thing to do is try to prevent them. Do you notice any certain triggers? Such as drinking caffeine before one comes on or being in an uncomfortable social situation? Try to make some connections between what you are doing, eating, or drinking before one occurs. This can help alert you to when you will be most prone so that you can remove yourself from the trigger.
If it’s too late, try to find a silent place away from a lot of people. Lie down on your back and close your eyes. Try some of the relaxation or breathing exercises that some people have mentioned above.
Excellent luck!
