This song is awesome but the singer isnt that excellent. At least compared to the instrumentals. like the drummer, Mike Portnoy, or the bassist John Myung.

This song has kind of become a way to root out real DT fans from the ones who’ve played Rock Band and Guitar Hero. When you’re like “You know Dream Theater?” and they say “Yeah, Panic Attack and Pull Me Under! Stuff is freaking RIDICULOUS on expert!” you know they’re not real DT fans.
Fantastic songs all the same.
