please google antidepressant and benzo withdrawal. There are tons of info on these sites and you can interact with the members.

If it works for you , fantastic but eventually you will hit tolerance.I developed really terrible side effects from paxill which was weight gain, blunt emotions etc…Then the hell of coming off of it I would not wish on my worse enemy.A couple of years later I took a benzo for a year…my doc told me the same thing (which they tell everyone)about the insulin. When I tried to come off of that , the same hell but worse. You would need to come off these drugs really really slow. Not how a doc tells you.

Anyone have inner ear problems/dizziness? Here’s a suggestion: Get the book “Phobia Free” by Harold N. Levinson. Get it used on amazon or from the library for I have no financial interest in Levinson’s work, just an emotional one. The book saved my life. Panic free for 16 years from a simple inner-ear medication called meclizine. Get your inner-ears checked, thoroughly. Write me on youtube, I’ll send links to 13 medical studies on pub-med showing link between panic/agor and inner ear problems.

It’s not simple, I know. I had been dealing with it for 6 months now.

My son suffers from depression and panic attacks, and he may have bipolar disorder. If he does not take his meds he goes way off the deep end! Do you reckon he might be bipolar as well. He gets extreamlly aggressive and hard when he does not take meds!

I have had Panic disorder and i took meds for two years(paxil&klonopin)but even with meds i used to have terrible anxiety, but not panic so i have chose check with a psychologist trained on C.B.T and i have been improving to the point that i don’t need the meds anymore.I would say that our incorrect REACTIONS to panic is what keeps us jailed.ACCEPTANCE of the phisical symptoms break this cycle, but IT’S NOT EASY.I’ve learned how to FACE and ACCEPT through the books of an Australian doctor: CLAIRE WEEKES.

Are mood stabilizers as perilous as anti psychotic meds?

If you had a choice between the two, what would you rather take?

just wondering what do you mean the “hurt” the medication had you??

  18. raul799 Says:

well for me my doctor prescribed for me 3 medicines Xanax is one of them

  19. redrusty66 Says:

Fantastic info. Xanax was the drug that worked for me, I still suffer gratly but that is because I take so small. Only 1/2 of a .25 twice a day, which is not very much. But I am worried of medicines (ssri’s nearly ruined me, made things alot worse, they do NOT work for me at all). It’s a very hard a battle. All we can do is keep up the struggle.
